Kamakhya Shakti-Peeth is the place where the secret of man’s will, energy and consciousness blooms from the same source. Work here is not considered sin, weakness or physical greed, but accepted as the corest stream of creation. The meeting of men and women in Sanatan religion is not only a coincidence of bodies, but a sacrifice of two energies. This is why the ancient technical tradition says that sex should not be seen only by indulgence, but by meditation.

If a couple’s union falls in lust, it becomes bondage, but if the same union raises in consciousness, it becomes a meditation. Both male and female are not only bodies, but two poles – Shiva and Shakti. When they combine with concentration, love and complete awareness, energy rises from the bottom, boundaries of mind breaks and within the seeker there is sharp, attraction and self strength.

Work is not a means of indulgence in Sanatan, it is a medium of worship. In our texts it is called the most intense energy of life that can defeat and uplift humans. Therefore the practice of Kamakhya teaches that not suppression of work, its conversion is the path to salvation. The body should not be rejected, be accepted with respect and awareness, for the body is the temple and power is prestigious in it.

In the technical worship of Kamakhya, the goddess is worshiped as the origin of creation in Yonirupa. The Sadhak awakens the work-energy through mantra, meditation and breath leads it to self-awareness. New moon, Ambubachi and technical nights have been considered extremely effective for this meditation.

The scripture says that control of work is not done by permanent restraint, but by its highest form. The moment man understands that meeting is not merely the pleasure of indulgence, but worship of goddess, that moment ordinary experience becomes spiritual. This is the wonderful message of Sanatan that love and desire should not be seen with hate but with respect, because the same power flows in every form of creation.

A powerful mantra is very popular among the Sadhaks of Kamakhya

Om Shri Kamakhyai Kameshwarya Clean Namah Swaha

It’s chanting strengthens will-power, brings peace to mind, and communicates attraction, confidence, and spiritual energy within the seeker.

Kamakhya reminds us that work is not weakness, but nature’s core energy. It takes man down by falling into indulgence, but by turning into meditation the same energy makes man radiant, balanced and awakened.
